how to use the movie clip in flash action script ?

I have created the movie clip the name called mc_text.  but I want to start the movie clip while reach the frame at 10 in my project, but I dont know,  how to use this movie clip.

Start Movie clips

mc_text.play();

Stop movie clips

mc_text.stop();
