ow to Setup DNS information Manually

Example :

We are going to update the DNS db information for this domain test.com.

Please follow the below steps :

*Login in to your server via ssh
*cd /var/named/
*vi test.com.db

And add the below information

; cPanel 11.18.3-NIGHTLY_21683
; Zone file for test.com
$TTL 14400
@ 86400 IN SOA ns.rambabu.com. linuxadmins.rambabu.com. (
2009050300 ; serial, todays date+todays
86400 ; refresh, seconds
7200 ; retry, seconds
3600000 ; expire, seconds
86400 ) ; minimum, seconds

test.com. 86400 IN NS ns.rambabu.com.
test.com. 86400 IN NS ns1.rambabu.com.


test.com. IN A 56.81.19.17

localhost.test.com. IN A 127.0.0.1

test.com. IN MX 0 test.com.

mail IN CNAME test.com.
www IN CNAME test.com.
ftp IN A 56.81.19.17
cpanel IN A 56.81.19.17
whm IN A 56.81.19.17
webmail IN A 56.81.19.17
webdisk IN A 56.81.19.17

*Save and quit

*Change the ownership

*chown named.named test.com.db

*rndc reload

*rndc status
